About this course
Activities and theory for non-developers, this course is for anyone interested in learning Ethereum in a practical way, experiencing the concepts of Blockchain and Smart Contracts while experiencing basic development on your computer. The goal is to bring business people closer to the technological reality of Ethereum in a way that everyone can understand how it works. It will connect businesses and developers at Ethereum Blockchain.

Who should come?
Business people, entrepreneurs, those that have reached some level of understanding of what is and what is not a blockchain but are not techy and want possible new applications for blockchains.

Level of prior knowledge required:

No prior knowledge is required. An introduction to Ethereum will be made. However, anyone who has already done the Blockchain Immersion Day, will be better able to link theoretical knowledge with practice. It will also be requested to exploit the texts and videos listed in e-mail to the subscribers.

Heads-up: This course is subject to  minimum of attendance. Subscribers will be informed by October 15 whether the event will actually be held or not. In case we do not achieve the threshold, all the enrollees will be fully refunded.

I’m not a coder/dev nor from any IT area. Can I attend this course?
Yes this course is perfect for you! In this course you will understand the tech part and become closer to the IT jargons, even though former experience is not needed!

Do I need to know any programming languages?
No! We are navigating in a few basic concepts that will be provided in a simple form.

Do I need to bring my own computer?
Yes, each student has to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device).


About the Instructor

Solange Gueiros is a Blockchain specialist (architecture and development), focusing on Bitcoin and Ethereum, with knowledge of Tokens, ICOs, DExs, Geth, Solidity, Mist, Truffle, Javascript, NodeJS, smart contracts and Dapps (decentralized apps).
She was the first woman to publish as smart contract in production at Ethereum mainnet in Brazil.
Also she has worked with systems, projects and databases for more than 20 years.

Her background in Computer Science and Pedagogy, both by USP – University of São Paulo, complements technical and didactic.
In addition, she specialized in coaching, focusing on financial, business and career.
